To make a long story short... For more than 126 years, our company has been moving top people and key personnel, their families and household goods, in and out of Rome. It was founded in 1877 by Carl Stein, originally from Frankfurt-am-Oder in Prussia, in order to provide first class packing and transport services in the capital city of the recently unified kingdom of Italy, where such services had not existed before. The young company, whose principles were courtesy, honesty and efficiency, rapidly gained the recognition of the diplomatic, business, academic, artistic and ecclesiastic communities in Italy who soon availed themselves of the quality services offered, and it was soon sought after by the major shipping and international moving companies of the world to represent them in the eternal city. In 1922, Aldo Righetti began to work as Stein's assistant. By following the founder's professional and ethical standards he further enhanced the company's standing in the international moving sector. He became the general manager when Carl Stein retired and he purchased the company after the founder's death. Aldo Righetti's son, Arnaldo, joined the firm in 1981, concentrating on widening the company's international activities and introducing modern technologies whilst maintaining the traditions of courtesy, honesty and efficiency which had long been the trademark of the company. The experience and expertise accumulated during 126 years of successful operations covers every kind of removal activity from a household removal from one address to another within the city - to international relocations, commercial removals of factories, offices, workshops and archives into new accommodation, shipments of antiques and fine arts, motor vehicles, house plants and pets. Our full logistics service includes import and export facilities, freight forwarding and customs broking services, warehousing, distribution and delivery not only of personal effects and household goods, but also for commercial cargo too. |
